If you want help to organize a citizen-driven event to pick up litter, beautify a space, adopt a location, gather up recyclables or anything else that affects our quality of life here in the beautiful Tri-Cities, just let us know!
WE WILL DO ALL WE CAN TO HELP YOU WITH RESOURCES AND GATHER NEIGHBORS TO COME MAKE SOME PROGRESS!
In December, we will be holding an open Skype meeting for anyone interested in the launch of Tri-Cities Beautiful -- especially for those interested in being part of our founding board. We will brainstorm on community improvement priorities for the region! If you are interested in volunteering for one of our organizing committees, this will be a great opportunity to get started. (Time & Call-in Codes TBA)
On March 30 we will hold our first business coffee (time & location TBA) for area private sector leaders to discuss the many potential positive impacts of Tri-Cities Beautiful on the local business environment. We will outline several TCB partnership opportunities and local sustainability/beautification awards programs that will be facilitated with local businesses beginning in 2025
TCB will coordinate local participation in the nationwide Keep America Beautiful Great American Cleanup event going on throughout April 2025.
According to the Keep America Beautiful 2020 National Litter Study, there are 50 billion pieces of litter across the country. If every American picked up 152 pieces, we would clean it all up! Do your part by joining the #152PickUpChallenge. Make sure to take pictures of your cleanup and tag us on social @KeepAmericaBeautiful and use the #152PickUpChallenge. You can also register here and receive email updates from us! Don’t forget to share your progress and let us know how you did. Together, we can clean up 50 billion pieces of litter!
Contact us at info@tricitiesbeautiful.org to see how we are going to take part around here this Spring!
Tri-Cities Beautiful will hold its first public fundraising event in Fall 2025. The TCB gala will be unique in that it will be held in the outdoors and will involve not only traditional celebratory activities such as music, dining and dancing but also less customary gala fare such as outdoor crafting, group games and even a pre-event Fun Run!
Tri-Cities Beautiful will also take part in this national initiative of KAB designed to increase the proliferation of native plants in communities to spread the beauty and to enhance the recovery of bee and other pollinator populations.
